Many are the ways to wealth, here is some:
Fix buildings whenever you can
wait for harvester load to be processed(not advised as your team mates will get very ticked off)
lay mines in spots you know enemys come past
save your money and be a regular, no cost soldier.
And when all else fails...KILL,KILL,KILL go out and have fun and when you die go out again without upgrading your character, after a while take a gander at your credits and you will be pleasently suprised
