with the way the game places you randomly i make that mistake all too often, and sometimes it costs me. i was playing on the map that i can't remember it's name(lol.. it's the one with the tiberium field in a cave, both harvesters graze there, and there's always a big fight for control of it), and playing gdi. a friend was on the same side and we were both going out as gunners to see what harm we could do to the enemy base. i saw a stealth up against a large rock and didn't think anything of it. oh good i thought, we have stealth support in case enemy inf get too close. well he opened up on us and man, was i shocked back into reality or what!? anyway, he did some damage to both of us, though we finally got him. but it was a long trip back to the base to repair. lol...

This happens to me all the time, especially if I've been cast on one side or the other more that night. I'll start a new game, walk out, and be totally startled by that mammy, thinkging "How the Hell did that get into our base with no one noticing!!!...oh wait, I'm GDI...."

yea i joined this one game saw red everywhere and see a gdi soilder at pt so i'm thinkin "oh i'm on gdi, **** nod flame rush" then the guy starts shooting me and i get damage. and i think "ohhh i'm on nod" and put a few bullets into his poor aiming noggin

Good post.. I have done this many times playing a level no time limit.. time goes by... next level.. spawn into the base see an enemy dont think twice .. zing.. bullets flying at me... lol

sorry, but once i get a crazy thought in my head, i just gotta write it down. picture the stoned dude at ww studios manning the harvy... "hey dev, this wall won't get out of my way... what do ya mean go around it!? no way man, i'm the mighty harvester man and i go around for nobody! move d@mn you wall! i'm gonna sit here and push on you until you crumble under my power! hey, i think it's movin' dev, come look!.. yes, it IS too, you ain't lookin' at it right!.. hey stop pushin' on me you stupid tank, i'm harvester man, i move walls and mountains!.. oh sh*t, now i'm headed for this weird green stuff, gotta get back over to the hill for safety! watch me push this hill dev!.. dev, are ya lookin'????.....

I did that a couple times after win/lose game.. I leave base get in a firefight and end up shooting my own ppl coz there shooting at me, Funniest thing i ever did.. But after that never again did i shoot a team mate..
