Are all you harvester drivers sick of having idiots block your route in and out of the base? You all know that the trucks are not equipped with horns or communications, Ok, you can either jump out and steal the persons vehicle, then let the harvester crash into a wall or something, but I have found it's best to just hit the throttle and ram the beggar out of the way, sure it pees them off, but maybe next time they watch where they park? I know I'm going to get flamed on this one but I just had to speak out!

You can jump into the harvy by first hitting L (to unlock it) and than pressing E, beware, its really, really slow and you can only look straight ahead (no turrent) and real slow to turn, but you can drive it away from the wall

Good thing you mentioned the L first and then hit E, but many people who try getting into a moving Harvy may be unsuccesful as there is usually already someone driving it and passengers are not allowed, probobly a union rule?
A good time to jump into a Harvy is right when one of them jumps out and steals your tank etc.
I agree the streering is kind of stiff, I hate it when you hit a wall and can't get reverse to catch in, most guys just abandon the darn thing and leave it sitting there, can you blame them?????

Problem with driving the harvester is that it's sort of boring. You just drive...get tiberium...drive....
I try to do it at least once per game, just to be fair, but I sure as heck am not going to spend a whole day driving a harvy....
Kudos to those who have that sort of stamina though.
Problem is, a bunch of n00bs seem to be taking it out for a spin most often, and becasue they're not familiar with the controls, they keep driving them into walls.

Particle Noun: I agree full, it is quite boring but it is important to get the tiberiun back to the refinery for the cash. Many times I'll give the harveter to a newbie just to keep them out of trouble, like when they go arround trying to lay 100s of mines everywhere, but like you say they they usually can't master the controls on the dashboard and end up hitting a wall and getting stuck, but practice makes perfect. Ha

It is kinda cool that it's the only vehicle that lets you look out the winshield instead of automatically becoming 3rd person view though, don't you think?

I guess your right, there has been way to much input on this harvester tactic topic, there are more pressing issues to discuss like base defenses, attack strategies etc.
Although harvy drivers can be reckless and irritating at times, so this is a good area to release some off the frustrations we all have.
Many a time I have been pushed by a harvester into the line of fire, especially in hourglass, beside the AGT, this happens way to often and most times without an apology.
If anyone else has anything that pees them off about their driving habits or other, I think it's time we air the dirty laundry here and now!

Well, one good thing is that I see bad, or purposly goofy, harvester drivers banned from servers more than any other folk.
So, at least the host's are keeping they're eyes open.

I hear ya man, violators and stealer, most people steal tanks and the big stuff, but quite a few time I have jumped out of the Harvester to repair it myself, because most engineers pay no attention to repairing the harvys, so when I get out to repair, a thief jumps in and goes of harvesting, thus racking in all those extra credits for himself, I'm left standing there with a repair gun, whoppi!

Is there anyone out there who has survived after their harvy blew up? It's one heel of a explosion, I have being on occasion, almost been thrown clear off the wreckage, but die when I land.
The more tiberiun your carrying the bigger the bang!!!!!!

Usually when I get pushed around by a harvy when I am in a tank, I usually jump out of the tank and jump in the harvy and safly guide it around my tank and jump out and back in my tank..
