I was just about to say that.
If you could stand on a moving vehicle, this game would be a lot different. One-man vehicles could take passengers, APCs could carry more guys, tanks could have mobius/mendozas mounted on the hood. Fun to think about, but please dont present your fantasies as fact.

You guys, ACK is right, it is Nod. Or you could have Brotherhood of Nod. But NOD, is Nod. ACK is right, small games have small points. I've never tried standing on a vehicle, and I can't type well, so, I can't tell teamates to drave a Chameleon near an incline or something, without being sniped or something. That would be cool, putting five people on a Chameleon and running around the center of the map... Hehe. IT'S Nod, NOT NOD!

well back to the topic
you can also jump ontop of the harvery with just about any vechiles on the level with the bridge that goes over the tiberium, two walk ways to get up to higher ground, with one side of map, only foot tropers and other tanks. Ive gone it twice once with the Nod's artillary.... i got up there on the harvey but fell off.

True he is. He makes a lot of cool stuff. But OMG I've seen him rip on new people that have legitimate questions.
Is it the young generations belief that ripping on inexperienced people is cool?
I'll have to remember that when I start teaching. I've always believed in my 34 years that helping people understand is far better than bashing them. But the majority of the posts I've read from acftkiller (and yes acft IS ACCURATE ABREVIATION) have demonstrated an arrogant and rude attitude. Not very welcoming to new blood coming into the game.
Maybe he feels threatened by that new blood. He keeps ragging on that capt dude for maps.
And people wonder why Terry Nichols, Timothy McVeigh, and Ted Kazinski went over the edge, maybe they dealt with too many rude idiots and just pushed back in the only way they had left available to them. Think about that. Just be nice to people.

Sorry moderator, I just get a lil peeved at people in today's society that are just plain rude. Maybe they didn't get enough discipline as a child, but OMG are there some spoiled adults out there now, and MANY USING THESE FORUMS.

Just because you express your opinion about something to someone, and they don't like it, or even if you are flat out rude to them, doesn't give them an excuse or sane reason to commit mass murder.
I'm nice by default to most people, but I'm not going to be nice to everyone out of fear of them going postal...and if they do go postal I'm not going to feel bad about it. Anyone who is teetering so close to the edge that being flamed on a gaming message board makes them kill people, well I'm pretty sure something else would have set them off...I get way more frustrated at idiots in DC traffic than even the worst people here

So as a 34 year teacher you believe your setting an example for the future generation by killing other characters with weapons of chemical warfare? ......Son before you preach learn the rules of engagement and not talk the talk without walking the walk
Anyway at least you made 34 years of teaching props to you man ...a lot of teachers cant handle the pressure nowadays. Good luck bro.

True, most ppl are nice by nature. But it seems in today's society that is changing fast. Many people don't seem to give a rip about anybody but themselves.
I have always been curious about what makes a perosn go over the edge. I've asked many mental health professionals if they could answer. They always say people will act extremely frustrated. With my dealings with the military, they always ask "are you thinking about hurting yourself or others." I think if someone has decided to finally strike back, they are no longer thinking logically and will not be honest with any medical people. Their wires have already been shorted.
I myself am full of kinetic energy. Stagnent and harmless until provoked, like many people. I know not to just strike out and screw with people just because I can. 1 it's not right, and 2, you never know where they are mentally. But these people that are so quick to attack everyone just because they never received a swift kick in the a$$ as a kid scream fowl when someone holds them accountable.
Many of the horrific murders always go back to an individual that was an outcast of some kind. I really don't believe that they chose to be an outcast. But because they are a little different, our society looks at that as weakness and people make themselves feel good and strong by picking on the weak. Beware the wounded animal. It fights with more fervor than a healthy animal, because it is fighting for its very life. [ October 06, 2002, 02:33: Message edited by: AndrewCow ]

34 yrs old.
I have walked the walk for 15 years. Part of Gulf and Bosnia. Been there done that. And the scary thing, I've seen a lot of those spoiled selfish attitudes come in the military. And it's even scarier to see the military coddle them. I believe in helping people, keyword HELP. But today's society enables people to continue in their destructive patterns.
Not a teacher yet, considering being an adjunct professor at local college. And after talking to friends in the profession, I'm thinking of doing the "adult" classes. The people going back to school seem to be more enthusiastic about being in class, and have much better etiquette as compared to those fresh out of high school and having their parents foot the bill.
