"Stealths are better in open ground warfare than Light tanks anyday" Absolutely wrong, light tanks are cheaper yet have more lasting strength and not much less firepower, where as stealth would die, and even if you didn't and ran, would be no use because its easy enough to shoot where the stealth is going even when its cloaked and hit it in the current levels, now imagine in a big open feild.

You may have had bad experiences driving STs in open fields, but I have not. The fact that they have 100/100 less hp is more than made up for by the ability to disappear if the going gets tough. Trying to find a ST that just disappeared with the explosions of your rounds in a open field is difficult if the ST knows anything about evasive manuevers Light tanks can be shot at from farther away and cannot take a Medium head on without a deathwish, but a ST could work its way behind a Med Tank, open up, turn and cloak, wait till you see thier backside again, open up... I love Stealth Tanks. [ May 02, 2002: Message edited by: ZTankMuncha ]

The med tank! (and with the rare mrls or mammoth backup its nearly unstoppable for a good 3 minutes...) And if I'm playing as Nod I'll use the light tank OR stealth tank if I'm on defense. On offense its the flame tank with arty backup of course.

Medium tank 90\% of the time. It's a very good combination of speed, armor and firepower. Mammoth tank only for base defense or when I know that the area between my base and the enemy's is free of stealth units and other tank killers. With the mammoth, retreating usually isn't an option, you'll get ripped to pieces long before you're in safety.

For attacking, I chose the Medium tank . But for defenting, I park a Mammoth next to a buildings intrance, get two nOObs to constantly repare me while I bombard the entrancees to our baces. I don't need to worry about a sneeky sniper shooting the nOObs, because the enormace body of the Mammoth tank will keep the entrance to the building covered. If an attacker gets past me, the nOObs can quickly get into my tank before they die.

The fact that they will eventually get to you sitting in a lightly armored mrls is enough to not go out and use it by itself. It only works against people who know nothing about defense or want to defend. However, I will try to get people to use mrls' early on in mesa to destroy Nod's power plant.
