Sometimes the C4 is set so close to the MCT that it becomes part of it. Just keep moving around it, sooner or later you will see the c4 icon thing and then can disable it. I think it is because of lag...don't know though. I have had the undisarmable C4 thing happen to me several times. But I don't think any person who planted it was ever cheating.

Quote from AZwhopper I see so many players constantly going for cheap pts every game every time i play with them. You can make a bet that that same person will be on the top of hourglass shooting at the ref with an artilly, or MRLing the hand from base on islands, or basically finding any nook and shooting non-stop at buildings contributing nothing to winning in every game. These are the players that will watch a hotwire/tech run into the building while shooting uselessly at nothing in ther etank and do nothing about it. Or will never fix you when its needed, or rather shoot at an enemy building as an APC/HUMMER/BUGGY drives right past them. 1 name for somebody who does this is a player with the nick "Iranoob" end quoteI agree with everything here the ladder is just a gimmick to play on WOL the real fun is cir***stances where two good teams square off. Haven't much of that here though. Maybe he cheats: if it matters to you write it up to WW. Me I'm goin' back to havin' fun How many of you can I run over while you doing something stoopid.? How many buildings can I get into totally unguarded because you are off trying to score points? HAHA [ May 12, 2002: Message edited by: hareman ]

Sometimes I do shoot at buildings far away from the enemy base. Once on island I got a art and shoot at the war far once then I start to shoot at the refinery. I manage to kill the refinery all by myself as the GDI and other Nod have just brought their tanks. Another time on wall I killed the Hand and the Refinery using the same trick. I do not think the way I did it is cheating. Ghost1988's ranking is still the same but with 100 win /2 lose. It seems like he is playing on a very laggy server which does not affent him and the game lasts a long time then the normal 30 Min.

Bull dawg is right! I played this guy, once. It was a 20+ people game, and the server was not dedicated. Everyone but the (g)host, had massive lag. Now, he didn't KICK people, but I think he somehow inserted a delay, and /or blocked some clients on his firewall, AFTER they had spent some time (2 minutes or so) on his server. Well, if he had host bandwidth problems, at least he should have made a dedicated server. It would not have taken 75 games of winning to find that out. When I was playing him, our team stood no chance with the lag involved, but he was driving around in his flametanks just fine. Just look at the individual games data, and you see a pattern: ghost1988 has a long connect time, and a high score. HUNDREDS of other players in his games, have about one to two and a half minute connect time max. That must be when they either give up, or he makes them drop. There are only a handful of games he plays that indicate he might be a real good player. He's at the very least manipulating his ladder score. Look at his game 78168432. Ghost1988 is connected for 18:40 time. There are 26! other people also on his teams side at some point. BUT, they all averagebetween thirty seconds and two minutes connect time. On the opposing team, the longest connected GDI guy is there for 12 minutes! So, he had a staggering 6 minutes longer than anyone else in the entire game, of rushing the GDI base to gather gamepoints. The same in game 78354074. He's in for 31:05 time, second longest Nod player for 29:00 minutes. Longest GDI player... 24:00. Again, a leading 6 to 7 minutes. All other players have far shorter gametime than that. AND THE TOTAL GAME TIME IS ... 30:28. So, how can he be in the game 37 seconds longer than the game itself lasts? Another thing indicating something: He's playing on Nod side 289 times vs 128 times on GDI. Or the fact that many known good players, leave the same games he stays in, within about thirty seconds. There's also a few stats showing he might just be a good player, such as his averegae time between getting a hit himself (36.8 seconds, very good) but with these messed up other games polluting the stats, this does not say much.

Exactly Dan, I looked at his stats and game summarys, he makes servers and kicks or has people leave after 2 mins (the rank cut off time) and thats how he gets there pts. He is a cheater, and is cheating... Thats why I made this post

I would think that Westwood employee that looks at the front page of the ladder (i would imagine they do regularly) would notice this, and if they have not done anything by now i'm sure reporting him is gonna do no good. When I played RA2 if took several months of wide spread cheating before Westwood would even admit they you could cheat, then took a few more months before they actually reset somebody. A total of about 8 months of cheats to do something.. BTW- C4Kitty, nobody wants you here. You need to just go away

Actually, no. And I see no point to continue. That thread though, is really long and I am not going to re-read it just to see your point. You just started insulting me after I said "Stop double posting". I don't have anything personal against you, you know...
