Fast enough to dodge shell and can deliver enough fire power. Mammoth have loads of fire power but is too slow. Light tank you have to have a good driving and aiming skill to be good at it. Med tank is right in between and have the advantage of both.

Most likely because: 1) it IS powerful, and 2) it's based off the M1A1 Abrams Main Battle Tank, which even if you don't know it, gives it an edge in your mind just because you simply are aware of what it looks like. Light tanks are nice, but Meds you've seen in news footage, on the net, etc. Brand recognition, only with military hardware.

The medium tank has the speed and maneuverability that the mammoth doesn't. Of course cost is another consideration...

Med Tank -Fast
-Can be repaired almost as quickly as nod vehicles
-Good for hit and run attacks
-Powerful cannon
-Go GTA and run people over
-Best unit for nailing Flame tanks, In fact its the only vehicle that can Best a flame tank One to One........except if the GDI vehicle has rrange then the MRLS nad mammy can.....

I have another question alog that topic, the recon bike.
Now I know that this is a little late, but why would you want it in mutiplayer? I agree it is fast, but by the time it reloads I could make a cup of coffee and be back in time.
So unless someone makes some changes its gonna be pretty disapointing.
