First off, you aren't the first to think of this. Secondly, on maps without base defenses, rushes come pretty quickly - just finding someone who is willing to do this saps 30 seconds to a minute off the clock. That gives the other team 30 seconds to a minute to get to your base unopposed.

Your better bet is to stop with this wasteful suicide bomber crap and just make a run for the base (saving you time and increasing your chances of getting there unchallenged, since the other team might still be loading. Two pistols are d4mned powerful when they have proficient owners.

Additionally, strapping yourself with remotes isn't as effective as placing them on the MCT - you need to get placement just right in order for it to work properly. If you mess it up - which 99\% of the people who do this DO...you not only kill yourselves, but you give the other team repair credits, and in the case of Nod, they could buy flamers before you can buy mediums - so keep this in mind the next time you wanna try a cutesy tactic like this.
