I do it with lone mammoths. Stick C4 on him, it blows, he hops out, you hop in, you run him over, and the last time I did it, he left the game, lol.

When a stealth is discovered in a base he will be hunted down and killed. Few are stupid enough to get out of their tanks to repair when being attacked by a stealth soldier.

Few.. but still some. Some even hop out when they're near the enemy base being attacked by a basic infantry unit.

Given the chance I'll steal anything (except friendly). I love free stuff but I get a whole lot more satisfaction when I'm Gdi or visible nod. Its so sweet when the victim starts name calling. This is a tactic of oppertunity and should be done as so. Lurking, waiting to steal is only a good plan if you see the other team feild repairing their own vehicles. If you see the oppertunity I say go for it especially if you can come up behind them while they are repairing. They might see you but you have the advantage because they cant react in time to stop you

by the way, Oppurtunity, not oppertunity
And don't waste your time trying to steal like that unless the actualy repaire themselves.

One of my favorite places to steal a tank from the enemy is on Hourglass..... you can be on either team with any character class.... when they assault to the left or right go into tunnels and take the side exit.... tell your teammates what you are doing at this point and have them hurt a tank.... wehn the tank backs off they usually hop out and repair themselves right by the entrance to the tunnel....hop in the tank and tell your teammates to charge... when they do the tanks with retreat right into you and they have no escape.... its good for breaking up almost any assault.... (and you dont need a stealth trooper)

Well if you remember the lock on the tanks is 30 seconds. What I try to do is wait until a tank is built, then kill whoever paid for it. Its good to do with a buggy/humm vee, either by running them over or shooting them. When you see the 3 green arrows over the tank, abandon your vehicle for the tank. Either cause chaos in the base or return to your base for repairs (when they get onto the fact you are not the enemy).

I got an apache using this method on walls, they got my stolen buggy but I think I got the better deal!
