I was a chem trooper strifing thru the tibarian on volcano and 1 regular engy was shooting at me with pistol from a distance I was shooting him while strifing and jumping and he hit me for massive damage (like a direct headshot) on every bullet- Than I said they he had an aim bot on "all chat" and didn't even respond. than later in the game I was a raveshaw and I noticed I was getting hammered quickly and I died before I could turn around and it was again that same person as before with a pistol and an engy. Also he was chatting with 1 other dude the entire game alot and I noticed his guns doing huge damage on me also no matter if I strife or jump it was always a direct headshot hit type damage!! Also I noticed that those 2 people had almost 2 times the amount of kills in that game than anybody else. I think thats proof enough. 1 was I think named "Dirtyharry" BTW-This was in a 32 player tourny server [ May 27, 2002: Message edited by: AzWhoopin ]

No one will every belive someone claiming they were a victom of cheating. If you wanna prove it then take a screen shot. If you dont know how it's the PRint Screen button above delete and insert. Then you have to Alt+Tab or Alt+Esc open up a basic paint program Paste and Save.

Especially, if you lag and they don't. And I have never heard of AimBots for Renegade. However, I have heard about something known as "Good aiming skills". Btw, watch the red bars appearing on your screen, you may be being attacked from many sides. Plus, something I've noticed many times: When you shoot someone, they will lose health, but won't see it after a while. Sometimes when I'm sniping, I miss the head and hit the lower body. Then just quick reload and again, they didn't have time to move an inch... I've seen it happen even with auto-rifle: I had full health and was repairing a building. All-of-a-sudden, my armor is gone and health drops to 60. Then I try to run, but get boinked right away. Yes, with an auto-rifle... [Btw, this is my longest post ever]

I was in the same situ that you were in as a raveshaw and ... 1 shot from a pistol ... and I was dead. what can you do? I have been told time and time again that there are no aimbots for renegade ... but that is just a matter of time. I think that we would have heard about them somewhere else. Now, I have heard a lot of talk about damage modifiers ... still haven't found anyone reliable to tell me about them though. I have also heard of people jacking up the hit pts on mammoths and the indestructalbe c4. Haven't seen any mammoths like that yet but I have come across c4 that you can't disarm. So , unfortuneatly there will be those who do find a way to cheat. Maybe, someone can explain why they have to; to me

NO! i know this dirtyharry i played him before! He is a cheater first class i dunno how but that isnt the case here. He shot my tank as a raveshaw (med tank) in 2 shots!!!!!! with full health! That IS cheating! and no it was not a nother player becouse it was a 4 player game and that other guys was messing in Our base!

Ravishaw killed a tank in 2 hits! Not possible during fair play, so it has to be a cheat if no one got close enough to place C4. The RailGun is not strong enough to take 400 points of Health/Armor away in 1 shot, you may be able to kill a Hum-Vee with 2 or 3 well place shots, but not a GDI M-Tank. Only T-C4 anc kill an M-Tank in 2 hits. ... I think it is only 2, *shrug* It may be 3. [ May 27, 2002: Message edited by: IModx1 ]

i was just playing in a big game (about 40 people) on mesa
we were gdi
i was sniping and killing a lot of people
then our whole team died
all at the same time
and we were all over the map and it was by the same guy
i didnt catch his name because i was laughing
im not saying the guy was cheating
maybe he was just really good
but killing 20 people all at the same time seems like it would be really hard to do...
and please dont call the people who cheat "hackers" or anything like that
they just download some program that lets them cheat they arent hacking
if u want to hack get unix and learn c or asm
hacking in windows in a joke...

I've killed 10 people at once with a well placed timed C4 but 20 people is too much. Try bringing it to WWs attention by direct email. Dev is at E3 this week so it might be a while till he gets back here but if it is a cheat it's best to let them know or else the game will be ruined by cheaters and no one will play anymore.

eae, I should just ignore you by now but why do you consistantly follow my posts around and make retarded negative comments to me or about my topics.. Go find another poster to pester and grow up. Your the type of person I'd beat to a bloody pulp in real life.. Blah blah he mispelt a word, blah blah don't do this, don't do that.. JUST STFU you petty little whiner!
Anyway.. I am an experienced player at this game and I played plenty to know when I am getting cheated.. I know what the norm is and whats fishy.. When my energy goes down 60Pts at a time each with 1 shot of a pistol without even 1 miss with me jumping and moving in every direction from a distance close to the max range of a pistol while I am chem spraying and died in like 3 secs, with no lag, no explanation but it was a cheat.. I know what I seen and no screenshot could prove it anyway, it will just be a picture of me getting shot, i would need a video of it.

Alright, God gave me an innate ability to be hunted by cheaters, I can't ever be in a server and NOT run into them. I haven't been playing renegade lately but ill take it up and find these people so there is more proof of them cheating. It will be easy since they seem to come to me more then me going out and searching for them. Just gotta get my messed up WOL working

I like how in a game last night, a Sydney not only saw my stealth tank from far outside the normal viewing range of an infantry unit, but one of my clanmates was on my team and he was a stealth hand walking out of our base on Field and he got sniped right away. He wasn't doing anything, he was cloaked, and there was no one else the sniper was shooting at so he didn't just accidentally get in the way or anything, he was seen and killed by this same person.
