If you stand right at the corner closest to the GDI base of the rock on the right side of the hill the oblesk will lock on to you and constantly fire but you will not get hurt.

That happens on the roof of a building in City Flying as well. The Ob will keep shooting you but can't hit you. This is the perfect distraction for your tanks and men to move into the base without the obelisk firing on them.

Exploit it.

nope nope nope
YOur bug is correct, but when your tanks come in, it fires at the tanks.You'd have to go in right when the ob fired to get any advantage at all
