u could plant a nuke but it won't hurt the vehicle, also it can't be moved once planted so forget the idea of driving that vehicle into a base with beacon on it

You can't plant it while inside the tank in the first place.. you can plant it on top of the tank but it just falls right through.

Still works but falls off when you start driving the tank away. Place it near a building silly.

You seem a little confused.. There is no way to have a moving beacon. It stays still where it was planted. It doesn't stick to vehicles unfortunately.
