With the Ramjet rifle you can snipe Arty and MRLS and aircraft easily and with less ammo than the Sniper Rifle. If the MRLS/Artillery is in a safe spot they can hop out and repair their vehicle and get back in and keep attacking. Of course they're not going to stand still.

Also, the Ramjet Rifle reloads faster and is less vulnerable to head on conflicts with other infantry.
