Yes - not many use it - but it prevents you from moving your hands off the keyboard - mouse
www.gamecommander.com
I have gamecommander2 and running on XP Pro - and it increases my speed in game 200\%.
I can give out the voice commands *the radio calls* and still move and aim with the k/m.
i can also select any of the weapons i have - change views - select beacons/mines - reload - with out taking my hands off the movement keys.
it works - and i have the sound volume high - and it doesnt affect the recognition of the commands.
Plus you can use it with roger wilco and other voice chat programs.
This little strat will help you in Renegade -- trust me.. [ July 27, 2002, 07:14: Message edited by: StoneRook ]

Hmmm -
This program doesnt interact with Renegade - it just responds to your voice and send keystokes --
Lag - as you call it - may be because your rig is underpowered -
I run smooth as silk on 40+ servers - with all these little programs running --
i would suggest you upgrade your hardware.
I was even running it on a 56K link (before i got my 1.5 meg cable connection) - and it was still smooth. Granted - i hyper-jumped sometimes - but i knew it was my connection- once i upgraded - problem went away.
Remember - this is a client/server program - there are a ton of factors that would cause a lag -- low memory - slow computer - bad connection - slow hard drives - bad drivers - bad servers - bad internet connections - the list goes on and on...
but it seems to me that the client plays a big part of it for this game...
