I would like to try this method but I have a question, what do you set "Lighting Mode" & "Texture Filter" to? Also, are you using an nVidia card? Thanxx

I set mine at the lowest setting. Not that my computer cannot handle it. I just prefer to have the least amount of lag, the highest fps and everything else. What bullet holes are left by my bullets do not matter in the game to me whatsoever.

Lowest setting. With a Voodoo3 16MB I get from 20 to 35 FPS. I like the game to be as smooth as possible. I allready have trouble with FPS going in the toilet when a lot is going on around me. Don't care about bullet holes, extra beam effects, special textures, MCT glass breaking, and all that stuff. I've played that way before and it is nice but not needed. When I can get a newer video card I will bump it up to better but for now I'm happy with what I have.

Hehe, highest all the time. 1280x1024 and all the details up on max. Is da ownage. With my GeForce4 Ti 4600, I get 120FPS on average despite the ultra-high settings. I love my new twin comps; sheer power.

for those of you with win2k and win xp, remember that there is a bug that limits you to no more than 60fps on any game, unless you get around the bug. For those with nvidia video cards, search the internet for a program called nvrefresh. It will fix the bug for nvidia video cards.

Unfortunatly the computer which connects to the interner (The server) Is the only computer you can play online games with, and it is really slow, I get about 8 fps when on the lowest quality... I really want to play it on my computer as it is 10x as faster probably more but it just won't work

ps: I may be buying a ADSL modem so It works *finally* in my computer
