lol, I am making a list of things you shouldn't do while playing renegade. The first thing in this list is the most important in my eyes.
1) Don't get out of your vehicle ![[Razz]](tongue.gif)
2) Don't go crazy with proxy c4, use it WISELY in your base
3) Don't use standard riflemen to destroy tanks, it just won't work ![[Wink]](wink.gif)
4) Don't use mammies frequently if they are being destroyed quickly, they award the enemy too many points for their destruction
5) Don't try to be a Renegade, despite the title. Work on a team and you will win
6) If you are a sniper, don't stay in scope mode for too long. Check to make sure you are clear every now and then, otherwise somebody might decide to c4 your ass.
Add more as you please

7. Don't Start typing when an enemy is in front of you.
( I have seen that happen - He then said i was "Cheating" )
8. Do not give opponents the taste of the "Blue Ray of Death"
9. Do not stand still when in close combast with a Sniper, or when a Sniper is Aiming at you.
10. Do not assume that just because a Tank containing a Stealth Black Hand is killed, that the SBH is dead. So, do not immediately repair your vech. If you see NO driver, presume there is a SBH in the area.
( A trick I use, when the tank is at 50HP under tank fire, I get out....and 8/10 times, I can nab an enemy tank. )

-do NOT keep your vehicle in exact center of a tiberium patch screaming "I need repairs"
-do NOT stand at a purchase screen for more than 15 seconds!
-do NOT stop your apc in the middle of a rush to run over the sniper (even though he can do a whopping 5 points of damage to you).

1. Don't get out of your vehicle if your a n00b or a newb and you don't know what you're doing. I get out of my tank and IN the field and well I don't get it stolen.

3. Don't use standard riflemen to destroy tanks. Use standard riflemen to annoy tanks and rack up some points for credits. Shooting a tank with a rifle infantry gets you over a point a second, and a tank killing a riflemen gets him 3 points, so the riflemen gets more efficiency than the tank does.

- don't go around buying unnessicairy vehicles cause you find yourself a sugardaddy. Ask if people need any.
(Except for in a game full off n00bs where tanks are needed on the battlefield but aren't being bought by the n00bs)

this is NOT what I meant. I meant that you don't use standard riflemen to DESTROY the tanks. And besides, going for points is not a good idea when facing tanks, especially when they pose a big threat to your base and team.

-Dont set beacons in your own base!!! If you lose your connection or get kicked, the beac will hurt your team.
-Dont try to get in a vehicle unless there is a green arrow above it.
-If an enemy character takes your tank, do not call them a tank thief.

- Do not press F2 and discuss tactics. Seriously, i was in this game the other day and this guy said "We need to get them! Right everyone get flamers and go in the back way!" ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif) Hey may have pressed F2 by mistake though.
- Don't take on Light, Medium, Flame, Stealth and Mammoth tanks as a Sniper
- Do not step in the enchanting glowing green stuff! (Tiberian)

- In a close game DO NOT Ion/Nuke the other team's base repeatedly if they are sitting on defense and keep dissarming them. They will beat you in points from this.
- If you have a team pinned down in their base do not keep rushing with Mammies in hopes to get a lot of points or destroy thier buildings. They will beat you with points by contnually destroying your Mammies and repairing their buildings.
- On Hourglass sit in the middle of the Tiberian patch with an Arty. Engies cannot reach you there. You will go boom!
- Do an engie rush and then place and detonate a remote C4 while the rest of your teammates are setting their C4 on the MCT. Wait for them all to back up or you will kill them too.

Unless friendly fire is on, your own C4 can only kill you, not your teammates.
