Just thought i would post a warning for the newbies and a reminder for the rest of us.
Mines at the entrances to buildings protect against engy rush's
Mines at the entrances's on SOME of the maps protect against SBH/Beacon if you have someone watching them.
How ever neither protect against a beacon on the outside of a building which kills it just the same
The best way i have seen to lay mines is a few at the doors to slow down the engy rush and the rest at the more hidden and hard to get to places where beacons are left.Example: The top of the barracks on canyon.
Which ever you choose be ever vigilant for the shimmer; always check the length of the airstrip; the top of the war factory is an sbh's best friend.
