with aimbot and stuff. I swear in some games(sniping games) there are players that list over 30 to 40 kills. like one shot one kill.. head shots all day long. even close range like in tunnels and stuff..

You don't have to be a sniper to get those kill amounts.
A lot if games, I like to drive around in an APC.
Not only do I act like an airport shuttle; I get a large amount of machine gun and squish kills.
Plus it's a very distracting thing when an enemy APC is driving around in your base.

If you had bothered to look at the link provided by npsmith, then you may have reconsitered this statement.
Personally, I don't care if I spawn kill or not. I simply don't go and camp within a stucture to shoot someone who does indeed spawn.
If I am in Complex for example, and am on Nod, and are at the sniping vantage point in the center of the level. If I see a unit in the Barracks, I will snipe that unit regardless of what he/she is doing.
Tough luck for that person.
Finally, yes, 30-40 kills is extremely possible for even moderately skilled snipers. Perhaps you would like to speak to Lukazan, or MrCod on the subject?

jesus ppl! how much do u play?! lol! u know that every hour you should have a 15 minute rest off the comp! it wont do your eyes good! in a normal sniper game i get about 20 kills, and for me thats good!

Jeez! Leave him alone! Even in non-sniper games Average ppl can get 35 kills! But the masters can get WAYYY more than that! Why you buggin Java? He is a good sniper, he gets good kills, thats what snipers do!

You know, I'm a good sniper. I get alot of kills and work hard for them. But I have found that these guys with "80 kills in 25 minutes" play on servers where the n00bs rush to thier deaths like lemmings. It's easy to kill n00bs. It's boring too. Play someone else with good skills and your 75 + kills will drroooooooppp like the IQ's of the guys who run WSE. I go mega kill n00bs when no good players are on. I like smoking losers like ursniped2 with a deadeye, when he claims to be the best and won't give up his ****ed Sakura, or leave the tunnels. He won't leave the tunnels, because the n00bs don't rush like lemmings in the field. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, TUNNEL WARS ARE NOT SNIPING. They are infantry wars with more powerful guns.

While I agree that games were 70+ kills are more or less just n00bs running like lemmings, you cannot assume in a normal game however, that everyone will be sniper for your benifet. That is why ADM would get so many kills in a normal game, and get far less in a sniper only game. If everyone is just a simple GI, then sniping isn't hard. But then again, that was probably the reason sniping was introduced to the game, "To eliminate the smaller units from reaching your base".
Sniper to sniper can be fun, and so can sniper games. High numbers of kills can be made in both, it depends on the skill of the person, and the usage of time given. Just remember that Renegade was not made for strictly sniper to sniper combat.

Agreed, just because the game wasn't meant for simply sniping, doesn't mean we can't do it, or do it well.
Its just fact that some people are better at certain things then others. Its just a fact of life. Unfortunately, ursnipa didn't know that,
