I know we've had worst unit and stuff - but what acoording to u is the worst weapon?
i'm thinking stealth soldier rifle - its soo lame, i sometimes change to pistol, but i guess its better against tanks i guess.
Most od the time if im stealth im on a base raiding mission and i never fire - maybe thats why its so lame.
It does a decent amount of damage on a head hit tho... maybe the sydney gun...

no i think that the stealth soldier rifle is good for headshots anf for tanks destroying...
the best weapon is the machingun of the officier.
you kann kill all infantryunits fast
but
for tanks is the best flamer and lovly C4 =)

the sydney gun is probably the least effective weapon, at least against tanks. there more of an annoyance than anything.

The grenade thrower is pretty useful once you work out how to use it. Use it against the harvey.

Errr...this topic makes no sence. The worst unit is decided by its weapon.
And yes, there ARE worse weapons, as in less powerful. Compare a railgun and a auto rifle. A railgun can kill buildings, vehicles, and infantry much faster, therefore an auto rifle is worse than a railgun.

There is no worst weapon if you use it right (lol im saying the same thing you all are ![[Wink]](wink.gif) ) I would think the shotgun, but if you sneak up on havoc/sakura and behind headshot them, then it's awesome! But against a distant foe, it doesn't work

Dont! EVER UNDERESTIMATE THE GRENADE LAUNCHER!
ITs very powerful, as powerful as the Rocket Launcher, it has a unique firing pattern, it is curved upward! That means, walls blocking your hidden enemy still harms them, plus SPLASH DAMAGE! and if you aim the grenade launcher higher, the range would be pretty impressive, plus, if you jump....

I still think cheap sydney is lame- sure splash and chemical damage. But consider the bullets are bright shiny green and fly at you at the speed of a mammy. You dont exactly have to be neo to dodge it. Infact the only thing unable to dodge is probably a mammy, and considering its armor and auto rofles cheap anti armor performance
everything is effective against a hummer- a sniper does 30 damage to a hummvee!
Ok maybe the topic would be easier to understand if i said least cost-effective unit
Then maybe sakura - i am a cheap sniper. I can only hit stationary or infantry moving directly towards me. And for bot of these targets headhits are not too difficult, so why pay the extra 500 bucks?
Maybe mobius - i dont really like him either- lasr chaingun or even stealth is better. its too risky paying 1000 and then chargin into a tankfield with snipers and hoping to get your money back...... Its range sucks as well.
U know the laser chaingun isnt actually as damaging to tanks as the rocket launcher officer. But it is easier to use.....

If you use this weapon in a rush against a building it will help you to point up early on in the game...... and allow you to get some much needed credits...... you can also use this weapon to take out an entire building (in correlation with the timed c4 of course)..... this unit is best used on canyon and Volcano....
Every weapon has it's purpose.... but by far the most useless weapon is the gun that is equiped with the sydney unit..... at 250 ammo it quickly uses up it's reloads and is only useful in an early rush against free infrantry..... it is good at clearing out pesky minigunners, flametroopers, and shotgunners....... on the level with NOD the chem trooper (which costs the same as a sydney) can take out an entire building with it's gun alone..... where as the sydney unit can hardly take off 4 bars of health from a building.....

I like the Grenade Launcher!! It does a decent amount of damage, and by shooting the floor in front of your enemy, you get nice splash damage! And a headshot with a grenade (its easy when they stand still) will either kill or severely wound all inf.

The Tiberium Auto Rifle is actually pretty good. The two weapons I never use are the Chaingun and the Chem Sprayer. Good in SP, but in MP... ![[Eek!]](eek.gif)
